High
blood pressure is described as the pressure exerted by the blood pumped
against the arteries. There are normally two different pressure readings.
The higher value is called the Systolic pressure and the lower value is
called the Diastolic pressure.
The
common causes of high blood pressure are age, gender, heredity, and heart
defects. Therefore, regular blood pressure checks to prevent
complications (e.g. stroke, heart attack, kidney failure, etc.) through
early discovery is necessary.
Acumen
offers user-friendly blood pressure monitors to get your readings and
pulse rate at a glance.
