Causes and Risks:
The condition occurs in childhood with bone lesions, skin pigmentations, and endocrine abnormalities. The bone lesions may stop at puberty.

Treatment:
There is no specific treatment for this disorder. Observation and treatment of bone fractures or deformities take place as indicated. Observation and screening for the development of endocrine disorders are indicated.

Prognosis:
The disease is associated with endocrine disorders. There is an increased incidence of sudden death caused by heart arrhythmias .
